Essent is a Dutch energy company that supplies electricity, gas and heat to private and business customers. While regarding the Netherlands as its home market, the company also operates in the neighbouring countries of Germany and Belgium.
Essent is vertically integrated, meaning that its activities cover the entire length of the energy value chain, from the generating of energy (excluding exploration and extraction), through all the intermediate links, to the supplying of energy to the final consumer.
Apart from energy and energy-related services, such as the maintenance of central heating and hot-water equipment, Essent also provides two important waste management services: waste incineration and landfill management.
The Business unit Projects is providing Essent with a center of excellence for the development and execution of projects to realize the long term project planning (LTTP) and other large capital projects.
Projects contributes to the growth strategy of Essent by supporting the activities in which the asset investments are identified and developed. |
