ECI is an association of innovative companies and other organisations from the entire construction supply chain throughout Europe. Overall leadership and co-ordination are vested in the central Executive Board, overseen by a Membership Council drawn from all full member companies. These are supported by an HQ Executive.
Activities in particular countries and regions are overseen by Regional Units, generally incorporated under appropriate national law. These develop and administer programmes specific to their regions and act as conduits for output from ECI HQ and from other regional units. Regional Units are supported by staff at institutions in the country in question.
