European Construction Institute (ECI) is Europe’s only transnational learning and improvement network covering the entire project cycle for engineering and construction. Its mission is to develop and maintain a sustainable, performance-based culture across the industry.
Established in 1990, ECI is a unique community developing and disseminating good practice. Member companies and their experienced professionals come together to share knowledge of best practice to improve their competitiveness and support innovation. The results of 18 years speak for themselves.
Over 60 organisations from the private and public sectors representing the whole spectrum of the construction industry across Europe are now members of ECI. Member companies meet at conferences, workshops, seminars and master classes organised by ECI and over 70 major reports dealing with project best practice have been produced, helping innovative companies to move ahead.
ECI has its head quarters in Loughborough UK and regional units in Delft, Netherlands and Milan, Italy. Two new regional centres are in the process of being established in Scandinavia and Central Eastern Europe.
